Hi

I seriously am pretty upset. The NHS have given me nothing. Only my faith has kept me going. Only by thinking it is a sin againgst God has stopped me from commiting suicide

How has the NHS failed you, John? ?Are you supposed to be under care?

My husband’s cousin is going through similar aggravation where she lives on Sheppey - months to have a scan which proved the back problem and source of pain then injections approved back before December last year and nothing since. Her son stepped in and said let’s go private and got it organised only to have them ring today to cancel out and put it off for 3 weeks!!!

Whilst I don’t think one should rely on the State for everything health is at a state of ridiculous to have that come about.?

We’re privately insured and if needed I can have a scan done within the hour most times, be back at the Dr and be referred on and it just keeps progressing. Mind you this insurance ?is not cheap.?

In my latest skirmish I went from scan at the surgeon’s office to him
Sitting at the desk booking me an operation from his diary and sorting hospital ?theatre etc within minutes. Basically From seeing him to surgery was7 days.?

It was all done too that my fund paid everything surgeon and hospital and pharm with no upfront pay from me.?

Agony was free too :-) but I’m here to talk about it.?

As long as you’re mending, Jude, that is the most important thing.
Best
