Re: iPad and ProCreate

Initial shock one might say but she had had her health issues. Grossly obese at times and under top specialist at Royal Brisbane. But she led a merry life. Knew all the best places to eat around town. Well versed literature etc. Very intelligent. But at the time of her death she had a husband and a boyfriend. We took her husband along to the funeral service (I thought it would bring closure for her bad behaviour) and the boyfriend spouted up front. Boyfriend got her superannuation!! Husband who had looked after her always was almost in a position of having his house challenged but I said I would sign a stat dec as to my sister’s statement about the house etc.?

If she got into health troubles she would desert the boyfriend and go home to husband who ran round her and prepared sustenance for her….she had Crohn’s disease…and then she would devil off again back to the boyfriend. I once said to her what on earth was she doing and how unfair it was to her husband. She said the other bloke was a “handbag” …her words….he dressed up nice and was presentable at functions whereas her husband didn’t want a bar of that side of her life.?

So no not entirely a shock …..she did it her way. I felt sad for the people at the office. She heaved a large sigh and sat down heavily in her office chair. Bloke heard it from down the room and vaulted two desks to do CPR but to no avail and ambulance got there in 5.

Boyfriend has the ashes. Refused to return to rest of family who had plans to bury her in the vicinity of mother and my stepfather.?
I wrote a eulogy …….carefully. ?:-) ?:-)

Re: there are some more tv sticks

I can't recall exactly, what I read about Geniatech, but. Elgato were based in Germany. I think customer relations are still there but instead of being able to converse in English, I had to converse in German. Then I found out hardware & software production were in China. I was told I'd have to buy hardware then software (instead of getting the whole kit ? ? ?,as with Elgato). It's also substantially more expensive. This gave me pause for thought.
I can send the emails if you like

Susan its not the stick is the issue — its the software to drive it unless its 64 bit is not going work from Catalina onwards. Eye TV taken over by Geniatech and they have produced 64 bit version of the software however no one has yet says it works. I don’t want to pay up if its not going to work and some people have paid and not got the serial number to insert to make the thing work. So thats somewhat in suspension at the moment. ?

I’m keeping my old stick going on the old computer for the moment…..and only solution for the newer Mac at the moment would be to go backwards in system and tech is suggesting thats not a good idea…..but then lots of things would work again. And its my Mac !!!

May I suggest, if you buy from Amazon, you use the ?URL and choose a charity that you’d like to support? It doesn’t cost you any extra because it’s Amazon that makes a small donation from each purchase you make. ?My charity is the RNL (I had to spell it out in full) and Harvey’s is the Devon Air Ambulance. Just a thought and it makes you feel virtuous! I think they do it on all their sites.

I love my iPad; I pre-booked one of the very first models out as soon as I heard about it, since it was, quite literally, just what I had been waiting for from Apple and even had cash put aside for it! Later on, I sold that model and bought an iPad Air and now have an iPad Air 2. Very happy with it and I keep it for Words With Friends or Wordfeud (I enjoy word games) and other games for iPads. ?Monument Valley is a beautiful game and there are some older ones that I play on an old Mini iPad of Harvey’s. ?Doom runs on that old model and I still love that very old game! ?Quake runs, believe it or not, a special version for Mac! Sorry, I do love my games! ?:D

Anyone using Procreate? I have looked high and low for anyone doing lessons for young people as some village locals are interested for their teens -- but nothing. Even Apple shops not doing anything.
I sort of got interested myself -- but lack an iPad. I've always resisted iPads as being rather ?useless things that just run cut down software and not much use to anyone --- not in the things I get involved in anyway.
But looking into it I got myself curious. ?My husband asked what I wanted for my un-birthday..... he asks this every year then ducks and runs. ? I could get expensive.?

She’s a ghastly person, John, but I reckon that it’s the way the Tories are rather than individual personalities.
