I can't recall exactly, what I read about Geniatech, but. Elgato were based in Germany. I think customer relations are still there but instead of being able to converse in English, I had to converse in German. Then I found out hardware & software production were in China. I was told I'd have to buy hardware then software (instead of getting the whole kit ? ? ?,as with Elgato). It's also substantially more expensive. This gave me pause for thought. Eye TV taken over by Geniatech and they have produced 64 bit version of the software however no one has yet says it works. I don¡¯t want to pay up if its not going to work and some people have paid and not got the serial number to insert to make the thing work. So thats somewhat in suspension at the moment. ? I¡¯m keeping my old stick going on the old computer for the moment¡..and only solution for the newer Mac at the moment would be to go backwards in system and tech is suggesting thats not a good idea¡..but then lots of things would work again.
