Re: Hi

Things will probably be OK. As I say, I can't see this being anywhere worse than the 1918 'flu pandemic. Do get aspirin, Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, Non Steroidal Anti-inflammatory drugs. Oh & of course hand sterilisers. Lets use common sense people

That is probably true but if you¡¯re in the most at-risk groups, older people, it¡¯s not very comforting! ?:D

Yes, I think there is some panic out there. If we had an outbreak of Ebola, Bubonic plague it would be proportionate, but basically this is a bad ¡®flu outbreak. Sensible measures will get us through this.

Panic buying supermarkets seems to have started in Brisbane. I planned on night shopping to supermarkets to avoid crowds. But wasn¡¯t contemplating huge stocking up at home. As we¡¯re a slightly isolated continent and govt taking measures Aussies should be a bit more confident I would have thought.?

Things seem to be progressing as I feared, but it won't be that bad. I expect the worst it could amount to is the 1918 'flu outbreak. Hand sterilisers aspirin, paracetamol & ibuprofen is the order of the day. Respiratory weakness runs in my father's family, so I'm more or less self-isolating for my health
