You are so right about our needing the internet, Jude; it seems all-pervasive now. I have an old school friend who does not even have a computer, although she did acquire a cellphone last year but not a smartphone, just a Doro, so very basic. It’s not switched on most of the time! My iPhone XR is only switched off at night, so needs a lot of charging; the climate bullies would hate me if they knew! Not being online cuts you out of so much in the way of information and, of course, groups such as this one.
