I¡¯ve had Monterey on my 2019 iMac and 2017 MacBook for three weeks now with no ill effects. ?All works as it should and the new gizmos are decent.

I am sitting on Big Sur for the time being. There have been reports of iMacs being bricked by Monterey particularly the ones with the T2 chip ¡ª which mine is.?
Our President of local group has put it on the club¡¯s Mac Mini and had no problems. He did it to get a look and keep it up to date for if/when we manage to get back into a hall meeting post covid.?
I like everyone else to figure the bugs. It all seems rather rushed and Apple used to be more thorough it seems to me before they let things loose on us ¡ª now we seem to get a lot of updates like things are half -baked in the first place.

?Monterey seems to be the name of the latest MacOS - has anyone tried it yet? My iMac is still on Mojave and, for fear of backwards compatibility being nonexistent, will probably stay that way unless it gives out totally and irrevocably.
