¿ªÔÆÌåÓýCongratulations, John!The Fusion Drive¡¯s speed will become evident after a while. ?The solid state part of it will ¡°learn¡± which files are used most often and store them. Firewire went out quite a time ago, as did the built-in Superdrive. ?USB3 is probably faster than FW800 and an external DVD/CD writer costs about ?15. I have the Apple Superdrive (external) and I use it about once every couple of months. In case you¡¯re wondering, I have my files store in iCloud, making them accessible anywhere on the Internet.
