Display Save Options Checkbox

开云体育

Hi All,
?
I'm running Office 2021 Pro, but when I received updates the other day Jaws reported that MS365 updates were downloading and did install, which is the way it's supposed to be from what I understand.
?
Well, I don't know when this changed, but in Options / Advanced category, there used to be a checkbox that allowed you to turn on / off the displaying of save options.? Does this setting still exist, and if so where do I find it?!? I've looked through all the obvious categories in options, but I haven't come across it as of yet.? I use the F12 key for saving, but this missing setting has got me more curious than anything else.? Thanks mooy moocho.

Take care.? Mike.? Sent from my iBarstool.? Go Dodgers!

Hi Mario,
?
Well, it seems to me that if you turned this option on when you saved a file using the, Control + S, keystroke a dialogue with other options would pop-up.? But, its been a long time since I've played with this option, and a question about saving documents came up on another list and that's when I realized this options isn't where it used to be in Word.

Take care.? Mike.? Sent from my iBarstool.? Go Dodgers!

Mike,
?
I guess the question is which Save option are you looking for?
?
In Word Settings there is a dedicated pane strictly for Save options, which Mario was alluding to.? This same pane can be brought up after hitting F12 by using the Tools dropdown (direct access, Alt + L when the Save As dialog invoked by F12 is open), hitting Space or Enter to expose the Tools menu, and selecting Save Options there.? But what you see is exactly the same as what you get going in via the File Backstage View, Options, Save Pane.
?
Those are the only two routes I know of to all the Save Options in Word 365, and I don't think these have changed in recent years and should be the same in the recent standalone Office versions.

Thanks for this Brian,

I didn't know there was another way to the save options other than from the files menu, alt+f, then t, arrow to save…
