Re: replying to a message privately?
Private replies to individual message senders are handled through the Reply to Sender link that's at the end of each and every message you receive.
That link is a mailto: link that will trigger your email or webmail client to open a new message and pre-populate the sender's address and the subject will be, "Private: {insert whatever the actual topic title is}."? You can, of course, change the subject to whatever you wish. |

Re: replying to a message privately?
开云体育Hello. With Groups.io pressing ctrl-R will still send a reply to
the list. In Groups.io messages is a link for replying to the
sender. Pressing enter on this link should allow you to reply to
the sender only. David Goldfield, Assistive Technology Specialist JAWS Certified, 2019 On 9/29/2020 12:20 PM, David Diamond

replying to a message privately?
开云体育I’m using office 2019, when I hit reply, it goes to the entire group.? How do I send a message privately.? I thought to send to a group you would hit “reply to all” Years ago when this would happen with other email programs I was told the group was not set up properly and that’s why it was not working correctly.? ? ? Could use some outlook 2019 help please.
Ron Kolesar
Hello, to my fellow Office access subscribers.
In short, I was on the phone with the disability hotline most of yesterday. I'm still receiving mail in my Windows Live Mail instead of going into my outlook 2019 mail package. How can I stop this so that the mail that I send and receive goes into outlook 2019. I even just shipped a test message to myself while using outllok and it still showed up in the windows live mail account. How can I stop this? Many thanks from one frustrated outlook 2019 user. Re: What is the process for sending emails to a group of 20 people without having to always type in their addresses
开云体育Hi Paul, ? The simple work-around that works for me is to get my secretary type-up all the e-mail addresses with comma separators in an e-mail with appropriate subject titles etc. I keep these e-mails in a separate sub-folder and just copy and paste the desired ones in the BCC field for a group e-mail. ? ? Are you asking for the best way to lay out an Excel spreadsheet that tracks spending such as from a checking account? If so, you should set it up so that the rows contain the records for the amounts spent and the columns contain the field names for what you're tracking. For example, I'd use the following column headers starting in cell A1 continuing through cell E1: Date Check number Amount Category Description Your actual amounts spent would begin on row 2. Be consistent in how you assign categories to each transaction so you can later sort and group and get meaningful results. And to save yourself a lot of manual input, you might investigate whether you can download your bank account activity for the desired period of time. Many bank accounts allow you to export account activity in csv format which can be easily imported into Excel. All you have to do then is to add a column for category and assign the desired value such as Mortgage, Groceries, etc. to the imported transactions. The check number field can double as a payment type field so if it has a number, you know you wrote a check but if it has something like EFT, you know you made and electronic funds transfer or if it has ATM, you know you withdrew cash from an ATM . Good luck. Alan Lemly -----Original Message-----

You could possibly put house in A2, Insurance in A3, Maintenance in A4 and so on down the line. Then in cell B1 you could place the date, in C1 you could place the amount and D1 you could place a description. That is just one of many ways your column and row headers could be done.

Migrating Outlook contact from broken computer to new computer
开云体育Hello Listers: ? Last month, I discovered that laptops do not survive when a pint of beer is spilled onto their keyboard. Having replaced the laptop and extracted the hard drive from the broken computer and placing it into a USB reader, I am able to read the hard drive’s contents. ? I want to migrate the contacts from the broken computer’s hard drive to my new laptop. The email account uses IMap, so no .PST file has been created, only a .OST file is present. Reading documentation on the web, I did not find any articles describing extracting contact information from a .OST file. Do any of you know of a tool that may allow me to extract contacts from a .OST file? This certainly does not seem to be supported by Microsoft. ? ? I am running Office 365 and updated copies of Windows 10 home. ? Thanks, Rick ? |

Re: Ribbon Commands
开云体育Sorry, I think I specified you’d paste the file you had already copied from its location and yes, the command there is control c. Pasting such copied file anywhere in the message body will attach it. You may verify it has attached by doing insert a or shift tab to the attach field. I hope this maike better sense for you now. ? ?

Re: Ribbon Commands
开云体育Iusually have people do Alt + N to get to the insert ribbon and then A followed by F to get to attach file. ?What’s really cool is you can pick a file from the drop-down where it lists recent files you have accessed.?
Hope that helps!
