Onedrive: backing up all folders to it


 

Hi all,

My wife has a Dell precision 5060 laptop running windows 11 pro. She is a
subscriber to my Microsoft office 365 family plan.

She has the laptop's hard drive partitioned into 3 separate partitions.
Drive c is the operating system drive and drives d and e are for data.

She wants to save her files on different drives but wants to backup
everything to one drive.

Can this be done or does everything going to one drive have to be saved in
the username\"documents and settings"\onedrive folder?

One way I was thinking of doing this is to simlink the other drives to the
onedrive folder. Would that work? Would subfolders be captured?

Is there a better way?

She wants onedrive for features like version history. The different drives
are in place so that we separate the operating system from data.
