To be clear, I am calm, and I really felt that I calmly expressed "the unwritten rule" about not cross-posting/multi-posting after this occurred by your hand for the first time.? I also had every reason to believe you'd honor the request, and it's clear that you also read the linked article.

There is absolutely nothing new, at all, about cross-posting being very, very strongly frowned upon when it's done as a "plastering of the same message" across multiple venues.? Doing so causes those who continue to do it to get reputations that they really don't want in those venues.

The expectation about appropriate technique was stated, and it's my expectation that the membership as a whole will follow it.? I do this in response to "official announcements" from group administration where I am a member only.? I don't make the rules there, but when any member of group administration makes a direct statement on policy, that's policy.
