Re: A way to delete folders

Ron Kolesar

Many Many Thanks Sue.
Any advice on doing the message rules?
Like I stated in my letter.
I like the one column where you down arrow to where the to and cc contained
people.
That way it looks at both the to and cc fields when the letter comes in.
One other area.
It looks like my signature isn't working, but that's small potatoes.
Many thanks for the help.
Ron who's still getting his ears wet learning out to use outlook 2019.

Hi Ron,

From the messages list view (That is just the regular view where you up and
down arrow to messages before hitting enter to open them) within the folder
you want to delete,

- Press alt-O for the folder tab on the ribbon;
- Tab about 7 times until you here "Delete folder button"
- Press space to activate the button;
- You will then get the 'are you sure ..." dialogue and a Yes and no button;
- Press space to activate the 'Yes' button.

That's it.

Regards
Susan

Subject: [office-accessibility] A thank you letter.

For those who attempted to help me out, I deeply appreciate the help that
was given.
I was on the phone with the disability help desk for about two hours.
Now four last questions.
At least I hope so. SMILES.
1. I know it is either ctrl and the letter d and or via the small delete key
that's on the calculator keypad will delete messages.
2. But how can one kill off mailboxes AKA folders?
I tired to use the applications key to down arrow to the delete with no luc,
and I've tried without using the applications key to use just the delete key
and a ctrl d combo, as well with no success.
If I could figure out how to kill off some folders and only leave the
important folders as I rebuild my mailboxes would be deeply appreciated.
I at least have move all of my mail back into the inbox for now.
3. Can anyone help me to create a message rule once again?
When in WLM the first column that was in the rule I always made sure that
where the to or cc line contains people was always checked.
I'd like to be able to do message rules within outlook as well.
4. One last item.
Can anyone also assist me in creating a signature aka tag line as well?
Again, with deep appreciation for all of the help.
Ron who's still learning how to use the outlook mail package
