I cannot.? I get this
This add-in is installed for all users on this computer and can
only be connected or disconnected by an administrator. I even
unchecked the box to disable per the directions I got from
perplexity, no joy.
I remember uninstalling said add on in the admin account so now
I'm confused,

Most of the PDF Readers/Editors that have a MS-Word add-in
include it as part of their "blanket install permissions" so you
almost certainly got it as part of installing whatever Adobe
product, be it reader or Acrobat full version, that you have.? I
got the add-in for Foxit that way, though I don't use it.

The only way I know of to remove add-ins from Word is via the
method you noted, Options, Add-In pane.? If you were successful
in removing the "all users" end of things, I'd repeat the
process for the account you're using and see if that wipes it
out there.
