Re: Using Copilot with MS-Word - It's keeping the original beneath the new draft text, how can I keep only the revised draft?

Leo,
?
You make an excellent point, particularly for Copilot or any Large Language Model (LLM).? Drafting is the process of creating something, as the term is commonly used.? Rewriting is extensive reworking that goes beyond mere editing.? Editing or revising or "cleaning up" are all taking what exists and tightening it up, fixing awkward phrasing, doing proofreading, and the like.
?
LMMs are sensitive to the common meaning of words given to them as their prompts and behave accordingly.
?
This will definitely be a learning process for everyone, and it's not like you can document exactly what prompts can be given because the whole point of LMMs is to allow natural language to be used and for the AI to interpret what that means in context.? There is no keyword set (although you can somewhat rely on the scope implied by common usage).? If you give an LMM a prompt to write something or draft something that's not the same as giving it a prompt to revise something.

It is much easier to be critical than to be correct.
