Re: Chan model for saturable transformer LTSPICE simulation
#Transformer
Your transformer model is not correct. You have also set a very high voltage for such a small core. Here is my transformer model. See the file NonLinearTransformer_pulse_AB2.zip in the TEMP folder.

Re: diode search tool
If you do a search of the Files area of this group's site with the term "diode model", you will get 610 hits. Not all of them are actual diode models, but some of them are. If you are more specific

Re: diode search tool
thanks for the reply. since ltspice community has built by now a massive list of diodes, and similarly with components that include the ones provided by ltspice itself, i think we must have a software

Re: Issue with Nexperia BUK7S1R0-40H PET LTspice model
That error message sometimes appears when there is quite a different problem. It probably doesn't happen often enough for tracking down the reason and fixing it to be worthwhile. Examine your .ASC

Many manufacturers have diode equivalency charts, or part selector guides, on their websites.? ?You can parameterize your searches and come up with similar parts according to some criterion. Have

If you want a definitive diagnosis, you would have to upload your schematic together with all symbols and models in a zip to Files > Temp. -- Regards, Tony

Re: diode search tool
I'm confused. Why do you want to find an alternate diode model model that is similar to one that you already have? Or, did you mean an alternate diode? Perhaps if you could clarify, preferably by

hello members, i was looking for a tool which can provide alternate diode models that match approximately to a given diode model. unfortunately, i could not find any website or software. it would

Re: Issue with Nexperia BUK7S1R0-40H PET LTspice model
I also tried using older LEVEL = 3? NMOS model by nexperia, with 3 pins. But no luck there either. I get Port(pin) count mismatch between the definition of subcircuit "buk7s1r0-40h" and instance

Re: LM121 model??
Andy, You are correct, of course.? The original LM321 (as well as the LM121 and LM221) is described as a "Precision Preamplifier" in the 1976 to 1982 linear data books, as far as I've been able to

Yup. It effectively competes, having performance that chopper stabilized amps could achieve. Ouch! It keeps us on our toes.? :-) Andy

Re: LM121 model??
That old LM121 is basically just a differential pair. Plus some other details of course. But no voltage gain or output stage as would be found in an opamp. -- http://davesrocketworks.com David Schultz

Re: LM121 model??
Andy, I deal with a lot of old circuitry. Mica caps going bad, as you stated, are VERY rare. It does not seem to be a DC problem as I am feeding in a square wave at 25kHz. I doubt over voltage has

Re: LM121 model??
I do not remember ever hearing of mica caps going bad.? I do not think they age, or fail except by over-voltage stress. But one hears about electrolytics (both Al and Ta) aging and/or going bad all

True Andy. I meant to refer to the LM108 in the app note. The circuit I have is using the LM118 though. Still looking for that LM121 model. The issue is that the circuit I have is not bench performing

Re: LM121 model??
Careful, there!? You have the wrong second-stage op-amp.? 118 ¡Ù 108. The application note shows the *LM108A* as the op-amp that is coupled with the LM121 preamp.? It is not a LM118A.? Those two

I think what you mean to say is that *TODAY's LM321* is not the same device! But originally the LM321 was the same as the original LM121.? Then at some later date, either NatSemi or Texas Instruments

Mike, that is the correct datasheet. The LM121 was mentioned in the 1994 NSC Application Handbook. I uploaded that ap note to the TEMP files as well (LM121 AN-79.pdf).
