You are correct, of course.? The original LM321 (as well as the LM121 and LM221) is described as a "Precision Preamplifier" in the 1976 to 1982 linear data books, as far as I've been able to determine.? The newer LM321 is more like 1/4 of an LM324.? Could you imagine if Signetics had decided to assign NE555 to, say, a new voltage regulator??

Regardless, I've uploaded the original LM121, etc. data sheet from the National 1980 Linear Data Book and the application note, AN-79, from the 1978 Linear Applications Handbook.? They're in the file LM121-221-321.zip.? No SPICE model, though.? Sorry!
