Re: Yahoo Search Broken?
Many of YahooGroups' functions seem to work for most people but not for others. ?I read regularly about this happening. ?Problems come and go ... and come and go again and again. ?Yahoo hasn't yet learned the old saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
I think the situation is that the bugs are all over the place, and Yahoo's servers do not all behave the same on any given date. ?You may just need to wait it out until it works again for you.

I went back and the search option is gone, that is why I use a mail client and keep the emails that are important, the web site is a disaster.

Re: A three Phase question please
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi GuysActually, you can use a 50/60 Hz xfmr up there at 500Hz just fine with no extra core dissipation. The flux density is reduced due to the mag current being proportionately less. the losses are roughly the same. Its just that they dont do that for aircraft supplies due to weight. Re: Spice model
Hello Patho, It doesn't seem to have occurred to you to check if LTspice already included a model for BC547. If you had checked, you would have found it in the standard.bjt file in the LTspice installation, and hence available for selection from the "Pick New Transistor" dialogue. Regards, Tony |

So I'd need two separate logons, one for search and one for posting. But if they have different urls, then the Firefox password might still work for both. It's worth trying. You could try going to and following linksI tried. Doesn't help. Thanks, Mike |

No problem here including searching, I use the link at the bottom of each email.

Yahoo Search Broken?

Is anyone else having problems searching the forum?
When I log on, no matter what I do, I am always taken to Note there is no NEO in the url. I used to be able to go there, but not anymore. However, when I try to do a search, for example, "tl494", I always get the following message: "We're sorry, but we were unable to complete your request at this time. If you continue to receive this error for more than 48 hours, please contact our Customer Care team. We apologize for this inconvenience." They give a link for Customer Care, but when I click on it, I get the following message: "Document Not Found" "Sorry, the document you requested is not available. Please click here to visit the Yahoo Groups home page." This problem started a while ago, and it renders Yahoo essentially useless. If anyone is able to get the search working, could you explain how you do it? Thanks, Mike |
Re: Switch ... on - Switch... off
Enrico wrote, "I cannot understad the functionality of this statements. Nothing from help, could someone explain that?" When a switch is "on" it means the switch is closed, or the switch contacts are closed or connected. ?A connection is made through the switch. ?The switch is in the state where it has a low resistance. When a switch is "off" it is the opposite. ?The switch is open, with a high resistance. For LTspice's switch model, "on" and "off" only mean the two states of the switch. ?You could have the model work "backwards", so that the "on" condition is the high resistance state. I hope this answers your question. Andy |
