Hi John I fingered it out. XVII puts em in a different location than IV: C:\users\username\My Documents\LTspiceXVII\lib\sym\ So, you can put your symbols folder below \sym there. Its not any where

We VERY often tell people that this is usually due to Windows protection of files in the Program Files folder. Put your own stuff in the same folder as your schematic, or in a 'My Library' folder
