The 64bit LTspiceXVII will only be installed if you've taken the trouble
to create a 64bit WINEPREFIX. Left to its own devices, WINEPREFIX will
default to win32, therefore the X86 will be installed. If you just
install all Windows application into default .wine environment, you will
only get 32bit versions.

To create 64bit WINEPREFIX and install 64bit LTspiceXVII there, you type
this in a terminal window:
env WINEPREFIX=$HOME/.ltspice64 WINEARCH=win64 wine
"path-to-LTspiceXVII-installer"
