Thanks, I will try that out on Friday or Monday. out of interest how did you determine the various values to use from the Datasheet, etc.?
Meanwhile, I have actually managed to get a corrected version of the BAR43SFILM model from ST Microelectronics via a Distributor that provides local support.
I have been told the model library on the web site will be updated in due course (I don't know if just for this particular diode or the family, etc.). For reference the current library is version 3 and the .lib file in the .zip file is dated 19th April 2016 (although inside the file it says February 2016).
FYI - Pretty much every value in the new model is very different to the original model!
Thank you for your help. It will be interesting to compare your version with theirs as they are completely different (for instance their IBV is a fixed value (not an expression based on temp!)!
