I knew Oskar (Danek) Peszynski one or the editors of the book very well, sadly he is not with us any more but I am still in touch with Marysia Polkowska who was also involved in producing? the book. I was at PISM last September but unfortunately the building was closed for renovations though I was able to spend several hours in the reading room. I went through all of the logbooks for ORP Piorun and Garland. Martin there is a wonderful, detailed account of a convoy night on Slazak in A.D. Divine's book "Navies in Exile". Do you have it?
