I'll try a little solder on the rivets and lugs. From the plug to the first lug is OK. Nothing on the other side, switch is open at the rivet.

You didn't mention checking to see if the ON / OFF switch rivets are high impedance thus causing the switch to be permanently open.? You could connect an ohmmeter to the line cord? plug and use a pick to probe the switch solder lug / rivet mechanical connection to see if you can read a low resistance on the ohmmeter.? A little solder goes a long way to make a good contact between the rivet and the solder lug.? Been there, done that.

Ohm the rivet to rivet connection to see if the problem is actually corrosion of the rivets causing them to be insulated from the solder lugs.? Soldering was earlier suggested for tube sockets that have ground rings that are also riveted to the chassis.? Clean and solder the rivets to the tabs as necessary.

If this was not the problem, try spraying some penetrating oil into the switch body and exercised the switch several times.? This also works to eliminate a scratchy volume or tone control resistive elements.

And again, another reason to go to Dayton! Bunch of our club members there now but I am still not up for the trip these days.

My very first impression was "If you can't find it at Dayton, then it probably never really existed in the first place!"
