My SX-146 has been on a shelf in a box in the garage for the last 10 years or more. My memory is that it has a bit of sustained movement, but doesn't go end to end, or anything like that. It does give it a decent feel. I should probably get that HT-46, SX-146, vox unit, etc. out of storage and find them a better home. That SX-146 has all three filters and calibrator, but the previous original owner pried off the Hallicrafters tuning knob and substituted a bigger national knob, so it looks a bit odd...
