The face is similar but the cabinet is wrong. The cabinet on mine
has the screen top that is hinged at the rear. The SX62 still had
the screen top on the cabinet.

Happened to be watching an old episode of 77 Sunset Strip (I
believe the episode was Season 5 Episode 27 titled "Target
Island") and in it was what I believe is an SX-42 receiver. It was
up close. Attached is a screen shot I was fast enough to snap with
my phone.
Later on they showed a Heathkit GW-10 CB radio in the same
episode.
