Happened to be watching an old episode of 77 Sunset Strip (I believe the episode was Season 5 Episode 27 titled "Target Island") and in it was what I believe is an SX-42 receiver. It was up close. Attached is a screen shot I was fast enough to snap with my phone.
Later on they showed a Heathkit GW-10 CB radio in the same episode.
