Sorry you won't be with us this year.? I'm unsure at this point if Barbara and?I will be able to do the Portland to Boston flight on September 2.? I expect the US/New Brunswick border entry to be open by then, but the cross-country air is more dependent on how the virus declines.
I'm reading the news from NB and PEI. They are handling the coronavirus in a reasonable manner, IMHO. They are re-opening some business now. Most festivals have been canceled. Massachusetts is still?increasing...Maine is not deeply affected an what they have is declining.
Maybe we need to do a ZOOM meeting on or after June 1 to discuss what we each think we should do.? What does everyone think?

Hi to you all,
NZ is now at Level 2 which allows us to travel about the country again, limited social get togethers, but no mention? of international travel yet. The first signs of allowing travel to and from Australia and some of the Pacific Islands are there, but no timetable. My guess is this may happen within two months but that is my guess only. At this time I have flagged any hope of getting to US or Canada this year, sadly as I was looking forward to meet you all again and have an adventure.
The Canada-U.S. border will remain closed for another 30 days.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the deal to extend the closure during his daily news conference on Tuesday.
Both countries reached an agreement in March to temporarily close the border to non-essential travel ¡ª meaning no recreational visits ¡ª while keeping it open to commercial traffic and essential workers who cross for work.
That agreement?was extended in April by 30 days and it was set to expire on May 21.
