I have a Halpin family who lived in Drogheda Co Louth.? But I doubt any connection.
Samuel Halpin, a millwright, was born into a Church of Ireland (Anglican) family in Wicklow in 1845, father Robert mother Madelaine Turnbull.? He died in Drogheda in 1918.
There were children Robert James, Margaret Frances (Fanny), Maria Rose (Ciss), Madelaine Mabella, Samuel died young and Anne Christina.
Robert James Halpin and his wife Alice Myers were national teachers in Wicklow and Dublin.
