Just FYI, there were two authors.? The second one (who asked where the "Upgrade" link is) did not say what kind of group or how much storage they already had, just that he wanted to know what to do when there is no visible "Upgrade" link.? There are a few reasons why that might have happened.

The message archive doesn't "use" the storage space.
?
But I think the attached files in those messages in the message archive do.? Fortunately the group admins have power over that and can delete old file attachments to make room for new files.

A premium group would have 30GB storage space.
?
There are ways to tweak his photos, files, databases to limit size to free up space.?

If your group is already a Premium group, then you may not have the "Upgrade" menu choice.? In that case, go to Admin > Preferences > Billing,, where you can select View/Change Plan to start the change to the Enterprise Plan.? But to do that, it says that you need to Contact the management of Groups.io.? (I think that is always necessary when going to Enterprise Plan.)
?
Alternatively, if you started in a Subgroup, the "Upgrade" menu choice is absent.? Start with your main group instead.

Owners and moderators with the permissions:
- Manage Paid Subscriptions/Donations
- Billing
should be able to see it.

You could try going to
Substitute your group name for GROUPNAME

I've run out ?of the free 1 gig storage space. ?If I go to the "Pricing" page and select premium storage, it opens up a page that appears to be designed to start a new group. ?How do I just ?increase the storage of my ?existing group? ?
Help would be appreciated.

Re: File size

Andy and everyone. Please ignore my question about file size. I was confused at the time.

New free groups have no "Files" section for file storage, so no files can be 'uploaded' to them in that sense, which is in contrast to the Premium and Enterprise (non-free) groups. Files can be attached to emails that are sent to any group where the group's Owners allow it.? I prefer using the word "attached" when a file is attached to an email, versus "uploaded" when a file is separately uploaded without email.
I'm not aware of file size limits for files attached to emails, but some email programs limit the size.

That was back in 2021.

I don't believe so. In my experience really large files often "time out" before the upload can be completed. I haven't tried it in awhile, though.

Hi everyone

The group just got unlocked today. I don't know why it was locked, but now we can all post. Yay! Thanks for your help, everyone!

Re: Disabled group

Misdonna -- Unlike Yahoo Groups, Mark takes copyright law very seriously. If the goal is for groups.io to continue to exist and flourish, we all should.
?
I'm no more of a decision-maker in this matter than Andy is; but in communicating with Mark, I suggest that you do your own research on copyright regulations as they relate to graphics content and provide some kind of evidence that you are capable of policing your groups more effectively going forward.?
?
"I don't know what I'm doing and you need to teach me" isn't a very convincing argument, and is in fact all the more reason not to reinstate PSPMania.
