New free groups have no "Files" section for file storage, so no files can be 'uploaded' to them in that sense, which is in contrast to the Premium and Enterprise (non-free) groups.? Files can be attached to emails that are sent to any group where the group's Owners allow it.? I prefer using the word "attached" when a file is attached to an email, versus "uploaded" when a file is separately uploaded without email.

I'm not aware of file size limits for files attached to emails, but some email programs limit the size.
