Pam did then send the rejection message directly to me - but I was out/off-line yesterday.
I think the answer is straight forward, the rejection was saying that "
[email protected]" is not a valid address - it isn't, this groups is "
[email protected]". My conclusion (best guess) is that you have typed a dud address into your contact list.
