When inviting many people at once, do the invites contain ALL the email addresses?

Or, do they contain only the email address of the person receiving the invitation?

I'm interested in inviting 130 people from a group hosted elsewhere to join here, but didn't want to inundate people with a list of 130 email addresses or reveal email addresses to others without their permission.

So, how does this work? ?I have a long list of email addresses in the Invite Emails field, but do not want to hit "Send Invitations" until I know what happens!

Thanks for any help your can provide!

The concern you have stated in the subject line of this topic does not happen. See?/g/GroupManagersForum/message/22518?for information on how the data you provide is parsed and inserted into each invitation.

No worries...you can hit "Send Invitations" now. :-)

Bruce, thanks! ?Unlike Gene, your response in that other thread confused the daylights out of me! ?:-)

From what you've said, I assume that this works like the old-fashioned Mail Merge in word processing programs (a la Word Perfect). ?That is, that it takes each email address in turn and mails out the invite to that single address, then goes to the next one in the list, and does the same. ?Hence, no one see any email addresses save their own.

That's good to know!
