I am a MOD of a small group. One of our members wants to be removed from the group. I found the procedures to remove members. From the left list of commands it starts with ADMIN and going to Members List. I am not able to see the Members List or take any actions on it. Under ADMIN I only see two options – Subgroups and Activity.

Question: Can only group OWNERS delete members from a group? If a MOD is also able to remove a member please provide instructions on how to do this.

You can only remove members if the owner has given you that permission. You need access to the Members List.

Normally members leave the group themselves. The Members' Help has this info you can share with your member:

Leaving a group

If you decide you no longer want to be a member of a group, you can use any of these methods to leave (unsubscribe from) that group:

Click the Unsubscribe link in the footer of an email message from that group.

Send an email message to the group’s unsubscribe address (see Standard group email addresses).

Go to the group’s website, display your Edit Subscription page, go to the bottom of that page, and click the Leave Group button.

Go to the Your Groups home page, select the checkbox next to the group you want to leave, click the Actions button at the bottom of the page, and select Unsubscribe.
