It works just like Groups.io's posting page. Use the hamburger menu to see the rest of the tools.?

First of all, there is some help here:
/helpcenter/membersmanual/1/working-with-wiki-pages

You may want to check out GMF wiki - this section:

Hallo Steven,
Yes you can. ?
?It is not fresh in my mind how I did this because it was a while ago.
I'm on a previously advantaged free group.

In the Wiki? 'home' page I made a list of clickable links to other wiki pages. Like a Table of Contents, TOC. Also in each page I could put navigation links to other pages.

Each page has a groups.io id such as 21846.
The html on my main wiki page looks like this:
<p>This is the Wiki Home page</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="/g/mylist/wiki/21738" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">About Mylist.groups.io</a></li>
<li><a href="/g/mylist/wiki/21846" rel="nofollow">Rules</a></li>
etc.

On a wikipage you get to the html by 'EditPage',? Click hamburger = on the right of the menu, to show Advanced Toolbar, then Click the <> to show Source code.

On each wiki page is a 'Pages' button which gives a list of wikipages which are actual links (built in TOC). You can get the url of each page by inspection or by copying the link as above. From memory, I couldn't find a slick way of getting a list of those links ; had to copy each by hand into a text list.

Hope this helps and am happy to answer questions,
OK,
Tony

Further nitty gritty. I found a way to get a list of existing pages. It is tricky and fiddly but good enough.

In Wiki, Pages, Select the list of Pages by tricky method of :
Just Outside the panel of pages;
LClick and drag into the panel will select most of the list at first,
?then drag a bit up or down will Select all the pages.
Do a controlC to copy. Paste into a text list.

Then go to each entry in the Pages panel; Lclick Copy location , Paste into text list.

OK,
Tony

It doesn't sound very accessible. I mean, it doesn't sound as if a blind person could do this via a screen reader and keyboard shortcuts.

Here's an example -- a work in progress (index/ToC) but I think this is what you want to do....

/g/Catalina30/wiki

After I've created a Wiki page I just copy the link to that page and past it onto the “home” wiki page. ?Using the normal link tools I can edit how the link will open, what text appears, etc.?

Another way it could be done is to paste the link to each wiki page as a “heading 1, heading 2,.... format and use the table of contents function to insert a ToC at the top of the page. ? The ToC would jump down to the entry (link) and then one just clicks the link to go to the particular page.?
This might seem redundant but once we have enough wiki content entered to warrant organizing them into a tree structure?by main topics?(like chapters of a book) the ToC function will easily show things by that structure w/o us paging through the entire main page. Below each link on the Main page we might have a line or paragraph or keywords describing what's on the page before we jump to it.?

Jack -- As I told you earlier (?/g/GroupManagersForum/topic/89597594#40722?), creating a wiki index via a screen reader will likely be a challenge.

There are no tools within the web interface to facilitate it. Tony's suggestion is...at best...a hack.

You asked how to post a link to a Wiki page from another Wiki page. Putting aside the above discussion about TOCs and a Wiki index for a moment, this is very easy. Assume:
- (A) is the page being edited, requiring the link
- (B) is the page you wish to link to

1). When viewing (B) there is a Link symbol (chain) at the top right of the page; right-click and Copy Link.
2). When editing (A) there is the same Link symbol. With the the cursor in the desired position, left-click the Link symbol.
3). You with be prompted to supply the URL, Text, etc. for the Link. Simply press CTRL+V to paste what you copied in 1). above.
4). Press Enter.

Hope this helps. (Apologies if I've misunderstood your question!)

Thanks Brian,

That is another way to do it.

That should be Much simpler than my workaround.? It is not quite working as described ; will give it a go later.

OK,
Tony
