Trying to Direct Add a former list member #direct-add


 

A member of my group was removed by me in mid January. I am now trying to Direct Add her back into the members list but keep getting an error message

Can anyone help please? I specifically want to use Direct Add.

The Help page says in the section about downloading the member list:
Note: In the User Status column of the downloaded list, a value of user_status_inactive means the user¡¯s Groups.io account was disabled by Groups.io management. The subscription records associated with an inactive account remain in the system and are accessible only by Groups.io management.

I am not totally sure whether this related to the status of your old member or not.?
Did you ban them rather than remove them?

Hello.

This may be as a direct result of when were confirming the email addresses of all users earlier this year. If the person did not complete that, they may have been switched to this status by the system. The only thing I can suggest is for the user to contact
[email protected]
?and explain the situation, there may be something they are able to do that normal users/owners of groups cannot.

Where are you seeing this error, in an email notification sent to you or online in the activity log?
