I noticed there was an area to copy HTML code to allow your members to join via a website...It's in Admin>Promote. ...(and by a social login), where is that? You can do a?share via the same page, but social logins can only be done via groups.io's own login page at?/login I can't seem to find the instructions for that.Select checkboxes in the "Form Options" block until the content of the Preview pane looks like you want it, then paste the html into your site. Thanks Bruce! Can I do the HTML code for subgroups? For the Login, can I copy the HTML code and have it part of my site? Thanks, Dakotta On Fri, Nov 29, 2019 at 3:48 PM Bruce Bowman <bruce.bowman@...> wrote: On Fri, Nov 29, 2019 at 09:38 AM, Dakotta Alex wrote: ![]() |

There is no Admin>Promote tab for subgroups. No. To be clear, the html code provided is for a?"join this group" button. The only way to log in is via groups.io's own login page (?/login?). Bruce |

Is there anyway to make subgroups have the web subscribe option? Or is it only a manual email option? Dakotta? On Fri, Nov 29, 2019 at 5:39 PM Bruce Bowman <bruce.bowman@...> wrote: On Fri, Nov 29, 2019 at 11:31 AM, Dakotta Alex wrote: --

Or is it only a manual email option? It is possible to manually create a "join this group" button (using the html gleaned from Admin>Promote as a template) for a subgroup, but it won't work unless the provided email address is already a member of the main group. I suppose you could set up the main and subgroup buttons side by side and have people fill them out sequence, but it wouldn't be very tidy.? If you want people to subscribe directly to a subgroup via the web, a mailto link to the +subscribe address would probably be your best option.? Regards, Bruce |
