You can also have things checked on the Settings page to send you an email when there are memberships pending and a few other things. Each will have instructions on what you can do by email, if anything.

Want to set up a couple of groups.
So how do I go about it.

The top banner of Groups.io pages has a link to "Find or Create a Group". Click that. Then in the left column will be a "Create A Group" link. Click that, fill in the fields, and click the green "Create Group" button at the bottom of the page.

And also need some trusted people, as co-owners, co-moderators.
Any one want to help me out.

Generally you should be asking people you know and trust personally, not strangers from a group such as this. But if you've corresponded with someone long enough by email you may feel comfortable with giving him/her that role.

Also what are the e-mail commands for setting up, like subscriptions, banning,
unbanning.

Group settings I think can only be made via the web pages, not by email commands.

Members can subscribe, unsubscribe, and change some options in their subscription by email command.
