How, if is is possible, do I migrate previous topics/messages in our group to a newly created sub-group ?

I don't think this is currently possible, but is on the TODO list.? Over a year ago, Mark wrote (in beta), "Moving threads between subgroups is on the todo list and definitely something I want to happen sooner rather than later."

Thanks for the update Duane. I tried split and merge but as you'll be aware it only works within a Group not across Main and Sub-Groups.

It has not been implemented. If you want to know where this fits in the context of site update priorities you will have to contact support.
