Can Owners Change Members Email Address

Nicole

Hi everyone!

Is there a way that owners can change members email addys? I don't know but I think members have to do it themselves. If so, what do I do, send her an invite at the new email, once she joins remove the old email from the group?

P.S. Thank you Shal for answering my questions the other day. I will reply later. I never said thank you and I didn't want you to think I was being rude.

Yes, they have to do it themselves. Your plan is what I usually do if the member can't figure it out.

ps The downside of that method is the new email address won't be connected with the proof ones's membership page and actions. So better if they can do it themselves.

No, there's no way for anyone other than the member to change it. They can change it if they can sign in to the site instead of creating a new account. On any page, at the upper right, they can click on their name, then select Account. It will show the email address they are using. To change it, enter the new one and click on Change Email just below it. They should receive an email to confirm the new one. If they do it this way, they're still associated to any posts, files, etc.
