What is the correct way to have an ampersand appear in a data field name, prompt, response, or content?

I haven't tried it and I don't know, but in some other situations as in coding when setting the caption or label for a control, if one is adding a single & and it doesn't show or it shows up as an underline, usually adding it inline twice as in && will fix that.
