When you have an account, do you put your credit card information in after the transfer has been initiated or can you put it in your account now??

Not in your account.

You enter your CC info when you upgrade the target group (to Premium Yearly). Each Groups.io group must be upgraded separately, paying its own fee.

See the Upgrade page (in the Admin list for the group) and click on the View/Change Plan button.

I just have one group so when I clicked on upgrade it was ready to charge me for premium.? But I don't do it until transfer is set up, right? Or do I pay ahead of time?

Not in your account.

You enter your CC info when you upgrade the target group (to Premium
Yearly). Each Groups.io group must be upgraded separately, paying its
own fee.

You must subscribe to Premium for 1 year and use the Transfer Agent if you want the Groups.io transfer agent to move your Yahoo group for you.

I'm having trouble with premium upgrade. When asked for CC detail, there is only an option for a zip code but i'm in Canada with a postal code and the field does not accept letters and the space. How do I proceed?


 

I think I've answered my own question....seems my USD Amex card required a US zip code even though its registered with my home Canadian address. So I found that I can enter the Canadian postal code numbers followed by two zeros to fulfill the zip code entry field I.E.: a PC of "K2A 3P4" becomes a zip code of "23400". It worked and my premium upgrade succeeded.?
