I got a reminder email from them this morning that Google+ goes away along with all content in April but will become inaccessible as early as this coming Monday or at least parts of it but it will all be deleted and to save your pages and content.

I wondered how that affects Google Drive but suspect that gets used and may not be part of Google+, at least I hope it isn't.

Subsequent posts have clarified that this applies only to Google+ (a Facebook clone that no one appears to use). Google Groups, Google Search, the Chrome browser, GMail and Calendaring, Google Maps etc show no sign of going anywhere, and the sooner this thread of misinformation dies, the better.
