Database Question/help

 

Hi.? One of my members deleted herself from our contacts database.

She was on row # 16.?? After adding herself back in, She is now # 31.

Is there anyway to make her # 16 again?

Any advice?

Only by recreating the database.? Once a row is deleted, it can't be restored.? That's why a popup asks if you're sure you want to delete the row.

As Duane explained, no.

Think of the row IDs as being equivalent to Message numbers: assigned sequentially and never re-used.

What you say makes sense.

Now, another question.

Is there anyway to LOCK a database so that it is not mistakenly removed by someone?

Or can it only be removed by a mod or owner?
 

Only owners or moderators with the correct permissions can delete them.? If you allow members to create them, they can delete the ones they've created.
