Database acting funny

Okay, so I've created a database for my group. I want the members to be able to go in and add their names to certain rows, that I've already put in. I do not want them to be able to edit the table nor do I want them to be able to add rows.
So, under "View Table" I've selected "Members"
"Edit Table" I've selected "Moderators and Table Owner"
"Add Rows" I've selected "Moderators and Table Owner"
"Edit Rows" I've selected "members"

But none of my members can see the "View/Edit rows" button at the bottom. The only way they can edit the rows is if I allow them to Edit the table too. Is this a glitch that needs to be reported, or am I missing something?

Thank you all so much this group is so helpful and I am super appreciative,
Tiffany

When you allow members to edit rows, they can only edit the rows they've entered.? When you enter a row, they can't edit it.? You'd need to allow them to add rows before they could edit them.

Are sure about that, Duane? I'd asked Mark for granularity of row-editing permission as a suggestion but didn't realize it had been implemented yet. Last I saw, the edit permission for a database was for the whole table or nothing.

I just tested it using my user login and it only lets me edit/delete a row I've entered.

That's awesome. It used to be the whole table, and I had to worry that our group members would edit each other's cats' rows. Thanks

Okay, I just remembered the details.? That setting is determined when a table is created, using the "moderators, table owner, and row owner" setting under Edit Row.? Near as I can tell, it was implemented in June of 2016, (at your request! ;>)? If members can create tables, they could also edit any row though.
