missing emails
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHow can I find out what is happening, why emails from my own group are not being sent to me over the last 2 days. The last email I received was on 25th Jan 11.11 am (Australia time, it is now 27th Jan 38 pm). Normally messages arrive promptly. I have been on the website and there has been 8 messages which have not come to me. I checked Email Delivery History and the last successful delivery was the one I just mentioned. Activity history shows I sent 2 messages , neither of which has come back to me. My email delivery is set to Individual Messages, I do all my sending and receiving via Thunderbird, nothing via the group home page. It seems too that I am not getting mail from GMF, I just checked on that home page. That is set to individual messages as well. I just sent a test message to another groups.io membership and although it appeared instantly on that groups message list, I have not received it back. I looked in unsuccessful attempts and that message showed as bouncing...? message was asav.iinet.net.au: 554 icp-osb-irony-in17.iinet.net.au Your access to this mail system from 66.175.222.108 has been rejected due to the sending MTA's poor reputation. If you believe that this failure is in error, please contact the intended recipient via alternate means. I belong to several other groups and all appear to be fine, as is personal emails. It is just groups.io mail that I am having trouble with. Can you help please? Win |

Groups.io uses 2 email servers, so there's a chance that some messages would get through unless they're also blocking the other one.? Until they fix it, there's nothing else you can do.? They may not be aware the the server they're blocking is for a group service, so contacting them may get it put on a whitelist. this particular one - has been constant in blocking over last few months. Nothing I can do when my lists have a few of the subscribers with this address except to advise them to get different address such as gmail, hotmail, or an other that does not go through this company. I have been in touch with iiNet and they want to know when the delivery attempts were made, they are asking about headers. Would the headers of the messages on the groups home age show delivery attempts, and if so, how can I get the headers. I can't find out how to, in the owners manual. Cheers Win |
