How about adding more search functionality like Zip Code? City?

How about making groups locally discoverable?

I am not sure what data groups.io communities could be asked to share which would make it possible to search and find them. A zip code? A city name??Folks could then visit groups.io and search by zip code and see who in the city or neighborhood had a group they could ask to join or simply join. ?Right new seekers can search by Most Popular, Most?Active, Newest and By Name.

Thoughts??Comments? What do others think?
How can this idea be proposed to the groups.io team of designers and developers?

Ta ta for now

You can post a #suggestion on the .? Similar suggestions have been made in the past though.

Any of those things can already be included in the group description and would be found using the search box on the publicly listed groups directory page.? A search for California found 409 groups, even Massachusetts found 90 listed.? I see no reason to duplicate the functionality.
