Can we see browser usage statistics?

Hello

Can group owners see which browsers are being used by group members (in aggregate)? I'm curious to see how many users who use the web-based interface are accessing it from tablets, cellphones or computers.

I know I can check to see on which platforms people were who posted, but I'm curious about visits.

Thanks
Samuel

For posts, if the "User-Agent:" header includes "GROUPS.IO Web Poster", you can look at the "X-Originating-Platform:" header for the browser.

FWIW, the post (not view) statistics for the most recent 4500 messages on GMF that were posted via the web are:

Android 63 posts,?iPad 60,?iPhone 95,?Kindle 15,?Linux PC 128,?Mac PC 970, and?Windows PC 3400.

Not that I'm aware of.? Mark may have some of this information for troubleshooting or maintenance use, but I wouldn't expect him to share it.? One of the major selling points of the site is that it doesn't do any tracking.? It's also designed using responsive technology, so users should see minimal differences.? That may change some when the app is introduced, but I'm hoping the view from a computer will also be adapted to use the same information.
