I told the person in charge of my Yahoo group I would take care of transferring to groups.io, or that I would find someone who would.

Here is what he told me.

The group you have set up at is not quite the same as ours at Yahoo
groups... note, here we have a dash (hyphen) between BEAUTIFUL and
INSTRUMENTALS as this:-? Beautiful-Instrumentals.

I don't imagine that would be a problem but it might in migrating the members
to the platform.

Have you any knowledge of this?

It makes no difference what the names of the groups are.? The one on YG could be Blue and the one here could be Red.? FYI, if you haven't started the transfer, you could add/change the name here so that it has the dash if that name hasn't been used.
