Fees for using the Yahoo group transfer
开云体育I’m considering moving 2 Yahoo groups to groups.io, one with about 924 members and one with about 216 members.? I understand from the Help file that an annual fee of $110 applies to use the move technique described in the Help files.? Would this apply to both groups?? That is, would it cost us $220 to move 2 groups?? We are not, unfortunately, a non-profit – the Greater Rockridge Neighborhood Crime Prevention Council is considered a part of Oakland, CA city government, specifically the Neighborhood Services group in the Police Department.? So I can’t show you a 501(c)(3).? But we have a relatively limited budget, and the city has suggested it may be about to be even more limited.? ? If using the tools would cost $220, is there a way I could do it by hand for free?? ? Please note I am subscribed to the forum as karenivy@..., the email address below forwards to that address. ? Hi. Yes, you could set up the groups then invite all the members individually. Note that if you do 20 or more in one batch, they will have to be approved by Mark first, before they get sent out.
Thanks.
From Michael.
[Mod note: This is actually incorrect. It's 20 per day, not per batch. See?/g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/20-Invitations-Limit] ? From: [email protected] on behalf of Karen Ivy <karenivy@...>

开云体育Bruce,If I may comment - I read somewhere that as long as you are an owner in both groups and you use your the same email address for both groups, the single fee will allow you to transfer both groups. Is this untrue? Susan B On Oct 20, 2019, at 8:42 PM, Bruce Bowman <bruce.bowman@...> wrote: On Sun, Oct 20, 2019 at 08:37 PM, Karen Ivy wrote: Karen -- Yes, the price to be paid is per group. Who owns it is irrelevant, except to the extent that person is able to perform the necessary functions (e.g. send invitations, promote the transfer agent to a Moderator, etc.).? Regards, Bruce |
