#howlong Answer from Support #howlong

Hello, Group Managers,

How long does Support ([email protected]) generally take to respond? I emailed a question about Codes of Conduct a couple of days ago and have no idea if a response takes a week or mine failed.

Support has been on vacation for the past three weeks and he is currently working through a backlog. I suspect that could be a factor.

That said, even when here, response times I've received from support have varied from immediate to never.

Regards,
Bruce?

There is an automatic acknowledgement that you should have received immediately. If not your spam filter may have captured it, or something went wrong.

But as to an actual response, as Bruce said that could take an indefinite amount of time. If there was a problem with the acknowledgement there's a possibility that the same thing may happen to the actual response.

You can also check the status of your ticket. If it isn't there, then you would know that the ticket creation did not succeed.

Login to??to check status of your ticket(s).

[mod note: despite the confusing language about signing in to Groups.io, zendesk is a separate service requiring a separate login account - your Groups.io account credentials don't work there.]

?I've seen the topic touched on Group Managers before, and the advice was to go to Support. That sounds ineffective. I'll look for group managers to ask directly.

Thank you for the answers!
