Permissions to upload?

Glenn Glazer

Our treasurer is trying, for the first time since transfer, to upload her monthly report.

She reports that she can't and that she sees:

The circle backslash no symbol appears over the Upload File button.
Do people have to be moderators or something to upload a file?

Thanks,

Glenn

Maybe.? It depends on the group settings.? On the Settings page, scroll down to the Features section.? Then scroll a little farther to the Files area.? Check to see what the Permissions are set for.? It sounds like you want "Subscribers can view and upload".? If you don't want everyone to be able to upload files, you could make the treasurer a moderator, with whatever limited permissions you want them to have, and use Permissions of "Subscribers can view, moderators can upload".

It depends on your group settings.
Check the permissions.

Go to Admin->Settings->Features->Files->Permissions and set to "subscribers can view and upload." Be sure to click the "Update Group" button at the bottom of the page afterward.
